Big news: We’re staying in Nova Scotia for the year.

Many of you know I am from Nova Scotia. We came up in late June to retreat and recalibrate and now, after much consideration, have decided to stay the year. Almost 40 years after I left to pursue a life in dance, being here now allows me to support my family, engage with new communities, and spend more time watching the weather change, all while teaching from afar. It feels surreal and unexpected, like much of these times, and a gift in the midst of so much change. We’re excited to explore the far corners of the province, reconnect with friends, and meet new ones. Grateful for citizenship, family, and this opportunity. I’ve heard Nova Scotia has the strongest boomerang effect for people returning. Here we come!
